Artist Liza J. Lee: The Bitcoin Art $250 series was inspired by the Artistrun Collective Group Bitcoin Art Show at CoinFest on February 15, 2014. The Bitcoin Coop co-sponsored and co-hosted the Artistrun Collective group art show with art made from DE-circulated Canadian pennies with the social change theme: “Out with the old fiat currency. In with the new virtual currency” and digital art show called “Computers and Capital: Rise of Digital Currency”, co-curated by Wesley Yuen. Mike Yeung was the speaker for the Bitcoin Coop. The event had over 300 attendees, speakers and vendors, with media interviews at the location, including CBC TV with Adriano Cavina, who interviewed Gerald Cotten of The Bitcoin Coop.
Liza donated “Spare Change 0″for the launch of RedDotArt360.com at The Waterfall Building to benefit the Vancouver Asian Film Festival on June 26, 2014.
